Project 1
Poetic Journey Structure –
A Spatial Translation (the tropical beach)

Project 1 focuses on poetic architecture that forms an expressive experiential spatial journey that tells a story and engages with the users through their individual senses.
Poetic architecture conveys beauty together with meaningful experiences that leave one feeling more fulfilled. The task will be supported by reading precedence, site visit & site exploration of a given building, plus inventory and categorization of poetic spaces.

Task A - here each member was supposed to look for 2 precedent studies and make background research on the chosen buildings. We had to provide sketches, illustrations, diagrams, analysis and conclusions on them.

For Task B we as a group were supposed to research and study the main subject matter which is “the tropical beach”, create an interesting journey, define poetic architecture, and create a visual storyboard 

For Task C we had to provide 2 physical structures for The Tropical Beach Structure and include a physical model, video journey, and presentation boards.
